With his characteristic generosity, 2006 Besy Boylesque winner Tigger! has allowed us to display this exquisite set of fans from his famous “Emperor’s New Clothes” act, as performed on stage at the BHoF Weekender in 2014.

Dancer, actor, and burlesque artist Tigger! began incorporating striptease into their performances in the early 1990s and has become known as the Godfather of Neo-Burlesque. The first performer to be awarded the title of Best Boylesque at the Burlesque Hall of Fame’s annual Exotic World competition in 2006, Tigger! has been awarded a plethora of titles including several Golden Pastie Awards such as Most Unpredictable and Most Likely to Get Shut Down by the Law, as well as numerous Silver Tusk honorariums including Trailblazer and Mentor awards. 

The fans on display here were created by legendary storyteller and burlesque costumier Hans Christian Anderson and are on temporary loan from Tigger! to the Burlesque Hall of Fame Museum. Tigger! performed with these fans during the Burlesque Hall of Fame Weekender Icon and All-Stars Showcase in 2014.
