We need your help – DONATE TODAY!

The Burlesque Hall of Fame is facing our biggest challenge yet. And right now, we need your help more than ever.

This pandemic poses an existential threat to BHoF. With the museum closed indefinitely and the Weekender in jeopardy this year, we will lose at least half of our revenue for the year, putting the whole organization at risk.

We are doing everything in our power to keep afloat right now. We have applied for federal support, both in the form of grants for payroll and low-interest loans for general operations, but these programs have been stretched well past their breaking point and it is no longer certain or even likely we can rely on federal relief to help. We have reduced expenses and are trying to negotiate with our landlord. We are tracking other forms of aid through the state and federal arts and humanities programs.

And we are asking you for help. We know this is a difficult time for everyone and that social distancing and closures have fallen especially hard on artists and performers, who make up a significant portion of our base. But we are running out of options – BHoF will not exist in a year unless the people whose lives have been touched by us come together to show their support.

Please go to BHoF.link/covid today to make a donation.

As always, donations to BHoF are tax-deductible and support our efforts to preserve, share, celebrate, and inspire the art of burlesque. And please share the fundraiser widely on social media – you can even create your own fundraiser on the fundraiser page to help us meet our goal.
