On June 8, 2007, burlesque performers and fans of all ages descended on the Fremont Street Experience to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Burlesque Hall of Fame’s Striptease Reunion, with a truly once-in-a-lifetime event: a multi-generational, bump and grind kick-line featuring the world’s longest boa… performed live, with over 1/2 MILE of hot pink feathers!
Sponsored by Ostrich.com, the event was a record-setting good time–choreographed on the spot by Miss Exotic World 2006, Julie Atlas Muz, with assistance from dance captains Rhinestone Debbie, Tigger!, Darlinda Just Darlinda and many, many others!
Special thanks to Mayor Oscar B. Goodman and everyone at the Fremont Street Experience for allowing us to shake our tailfeathers under Fremont Street’s world famous LCD canopy!
SPECIAL NOTICE: Interested in owning your own piece of bump & grind history? Visit Ostrich.com (or the Burlesque Hall of Fame Museum Store, at 520 Fremont Street in historic Downtown Las Vegas) and purchase a 12′ length of the legendary boa, complete with Certificate of Authenticity documenting its Guinness Book of World Records pedigree!
