The Burlesque Hall of Fame is MOVING!

After months of planning and negotiation, we have signed the lease on a new home for the world’s only museum dedicated to preserving, sharing, celebrating, and inspiring the art of burlesque. The new space is nearly 15 TIMES BIGGER than the current space in downtown Las Vegas, and will be located in the heart of Las Vegas’ burgeoning Arts District. Meaning it will be not just much bigger but much more accessible to tourists, travelers, and locals alike!

This is a tremendously thrilling — but also challenging — time in the history of the Burlesque Hall of Fame! And your support will play a vital role in our success.

The build-out and preparation of our new home comes with some very real costs, and we remain a small, grassroots not-for-profit organization.

We need your help to raise at least $50,000 by December 31, 2015, to open our new doors. Costs include:

• The architectural design of our new interior spaces

• Professional wall construction for 150 linear feet of display walls (nearly 3 times what we have now!)

• Flooring installation, including for a professional-quality performance, teaching and event space

• Museum-quality lighting installation

• New signage both inside the space and outside on our new building

• Display cases, shelving, and other installation supplies

• Building and installation of safe, professional storage and work space where our collection can be preserved, catalogued and accessed by scholars and fans
