THANK YOU Gail Winns & Lyle Sheftel, and John Humphries of EARTH WATER SKY who together have brought us a brand new PA and AV system! Thanks to them we can fill our museum with music, and host screenings, lectures and presentations in our Bawdy Shop studio.
Gail Winns and Lyle Sheftel again made a large donation to the museum: $5,000 to pay for the cost of installing the system! John Humphries and event production and design company Earth Water Sky donated $8,500 in equipment, including an amplifier and speakers, projector and screen, wireless microphone system, even an iPod to play music from, as well enough chairs to fill our studio.
This is Gail and Lyle’s third large donation to the museum in as many years. Gail, “The Original Twister”, has performed for 6 decades and has been a favorite on the Burlesque Hall of Fame Weekender stage. Her and her husband, Lyle, operated Denver’s Oldest Bar and the Tollgate Tavern together in Colorado, before retiring on Golden.
Earth Water Sky is a Las Vegas event production and design group specializing in turnkey live event productions, creative audio, video, lighting design, and special effects solutions for live events. They are a major supporter of the Neon Museum, most recently working with them to develop and install their new sight and sound installation, “Brilliant!”
We cannot thank them enough for helping make The Burlesque Hall of Fame an even more lively museum!
