Ever wanted to try burlesque but don’t know where to start? This 5 week course is that start!

Burlesque for Beginners is designed for anyone who would like to try their hand at this true American artform! Whether you just started performing or have yet to set foot onstage – This class is for you! Tap into the empowerment that can come from stripping away all inhibitions and taking control of your own autonomy.

Students will learn lessons on the history, classic burlesque moves, tassel twirling, fan dancing, tips on jumpstarting your burlesque career and more!

Class meets twice a week on Mondays and Wednesdays starting Jan. 19th. The final week includes a final dress rehearsal and group performance in the

Burlesque Hall of Fame’s Tease: A Burlesque Revue at The Space. 

Class is open to all! Class is taught on the motto that, “All bodies are burlesque bodies.”
