Photo/Video Policy & Code of Conduct
- In the Orleans and surrounding area, permission should be asked of people before you photograph them. This is just politeness and common sense.
- Anyone interfering with the participants/attendees or disrupting views of patrons during any BHOF event (showcases, panels, etc.) risk removal from the venue and/or revocation of their credentials at the discretion of the Orleans and/or BHOF.
- No flash photography is allowed in the theater during the show. Flash photography will only be allowed before the show, during intermission, and after the show.
- United States copyright prohibits the webcast, broadcast, transmission, retransmission or other duplication of any copyrighted performance, programming and/or other such content. Anyone caught videotaping/webcasting will be removed from the theater and banned for the remainder of the Weekend.
- Personal digital cameras ARE allowed at all BHOF Weekend events, provided their use is not disruptive. Attendees may take photos from their seats, as long as they are not standing in the press area, obstructing views, or using a flash inside any performance venues.
- There will be select areas of the venue designated for credentialed photographers, at both the front and rear of the theater. You are free to shoot from other spots, provided you do not stand at the front of the stage, block the aisles, or otherwise compromise fire safety and/or obstruct the view of seated attendees.
- Interviews with specific performers, hosts or BHOF personnel can only be guaranteed when arranged in advance of the Weekend and depend on availability, conditions, and restrictions to be determined on an individual basis.
- The backstage area is restricted to performers and production team only. No photographers, photography, videography, or any press or media are permitted backstage under any circumstances. For real. Don’t even ask.
- Press credentials are distributed at the discretion of the BHOF and can be revoked if the BHOF and/or Orleans deems necessary.
- Press credentials distributed by the BHOF do not imply approval or permission of any kind by the Orleans or its parent company, Boyd Gaming. Anyone wishing to photograph, film, videotape, or otherwise record the premises of the Orleans Hotel & Casino (outside of hand-held/wireless cameras within the confines of rooms exclusively reserved for BHOF Weekend events) MUST SUBMIT A REQUEST TO THEIR CORPORATE MARKETING DEPARTMENT NO LATER THAN MAY 1, 2012. There are no exceptions to this rule.
- Credentials must be visible at all times. Upon receipt, you will be required to sign a form confirming that you have read and understand this policy.
